The Verein zur Förderung der Wissenschaft in den Gesundheitsberufen VFWG (Association for the Promotion of Science in the Health Professions) is a non profit organization. The purpose of the VFWG is to promote interdisciplinary and interprofessional science in the field of academic health professions, especially in the German speaking countries Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

Dreiländertagung (Congress for the three German speaking countries) in Hildesheim: Registration open
Registration for the 2026 VFWG Dreiländertagung in Hildesheim is open until September 9, 2026.
At the conference, we will seek new solutions and strategies to shape sustainable healthcare jointly. The conference brings together healthcare professionals from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to discuss topics in theory development, health services research, and teaching, and to facilitate networking among participants.
