The Verein zur Förderung der Wissenschaft in den Gesundheitsberufen VFWG (Association for the Promotion of Science in the Health Professions) is a non profit organization. The purpose of the VFWG is to promote interdisciplinary and interprofessional science in the field of academic health professions, especially in the German speaking countries Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
